Sales have never been so good as now in Cozumel!!! The "Baby Boomers", Canadians with a strong currency, Cozumel government providing a better than ever infrastructure on the island, or whatever the reason, our sales have been great. I keep getting asked by Americans that say the US economy is so bad, so "how is it in Mexico?" Well, it's time to invest here. Prices, in comparison to other places, are still low and look at our wonderful climate and how safe the island is! This has to be the most beautiful, turquoise, crystal clear water in the world!! We have several fabulous new listings and some extra special deals:

The POEL (density allowed to be built on the island) is in heated discussion ready to be published soon. Take a look at www.cozumel.gob.mx/cozumel.htm and if you click on the reef scene banner, you can view the map. Unfortunately, it may be difficult to understand if you do not speak Spanish, but it's worth looking. The dark pink area on the north end by Country Club Estates, across from the golf course, is allowing the highest density with 15 story construction. For a developers deal, jump on the 2 Caribe Mexicana oceanfront lots that are 37.50 x 100 meters to build a nice condo complex like Marazul for example. The land is still priced at $1,000,000, but should go up based upon the new density allowed.
Two 20 x 36 meter lots in Caribe Mexicana that are oceanview and ocean access (145 meters from the ocean) listed for a fantastic price of $60,000 USD. You could easily build two nice homes on one of these lots.
Peninsula Grand, high rise condominium building on the north end of the island, is almost ready for occupancy. Right now you can still get pre-construction discount prices going as low as $382,500 for a 3 bedroom, 4 bath with a TV room. GET YOURS BEFORE PRICES GO UP $100,000!! Currently, as we have been predicting, one $150,000 townhome, Casa Ponti, remains in Corpus Christi, the nice, in town vacation rental neighborhood.
