Surveillance cameras for Cozumel to be up and running by year end

Surveillance equipment that will be placed around various areas of Cozumel have begun to arrive.
The first of the surveillance equipment began arriving Tuesday at
Ayuntamiento de Cozumel that will see the installation of 46 cameras
place in strategic points of the city.
José Váquez Pech, director of Sistemas del Ayuntamiento de Cozumel,
said that some of the antennas were delivered, which will be used to
remotely manage the cameras. He added that in some areas, face and
plate-detection cameras will be installed, noting that studies have
already been conducted on physical posts around the city.

- Turn this in at your Mexican Consulate and bring what they give you back to Mexico Immigration.
Once
in Mexico, the process is currently taking between two to two and a
half months once you bring this information to Mexican Immigration to
get your card.
Once Immigration receives the file then we have to wait around 5 weeks for a verification of data,
Then another 1 week to schedule the appointment of fingerprints and signatures
and another 2 weeks to physically receive the credential (Immigration card)
It's
important to mention you can obtain a permit to leave the country
(Valid for 60 days) ......and then continue the process of your file
from your country.

participate as competitors in the "Triathlon of Cozumel", whose
modalities consist of Sprint triathlon: 750 meters of swimming, 20
kilometers of cycling and 5 kilometers of running. Olympic Triathlon:
1.5 km of swimming, 40 km of cycling and 10 km of running. Animate and
participate!
Registration for this event is personal, non-transferable,
non-refundable and it is valid for this edition only. It is forbidden to
hand your number to another person or to participate with someone
else´s number; to do so may lead to a sanction of up to 12 months.
Each participant must pick up their race kit in person and must show a
valid picture id (i.e., passport, driver's license or visa).
