Investment of 100 million pesos for Cozumel water treatment plant announced

Approximately 100 million pesos will be invested in upgrades for the San Miguelito treatment plant in Cozumel. Governor Mara Lezama made the announcement over the weekend.

She said the 100 million is part of the 2025 of investments expected in Cozumel projects to benefit island residents. Cozumel community helps save 150 wildlife specimens in 2024!

Thanks to the active participation of the Cozumel community, the Cozumel Parks and Museums Foundation (FPMC) has managed to rescue and release 150 wildlife specimens so far in 2024.
